[tn-bird] recent nswo sightings in ky and tn

This winter I have been conducting another survey for
Northern Saw-whet Owls in the Big South Fork National
River and Recreation Area.  Besides two NSWOs I
reported earlier, I should also mention two more
encounters, one in McCreary Co., KY, on 12 Feb 02
and the other in Scott Co., TN, on 1 Mar 02.  The
total of four NSWOs derives from coverage of 80 stops
(as compared to 10 NSWOs encountered while surveying
the same 100 stops in 2000).  Thanks to Roseanna Denton
for coverage of 10 stops in KY. Thanks also to Dan Combs
and Nell Moore for help in running surveys on one
or more evenings. I plan to cover 20 more stops
as soon as weather allows.  To see final results
