I originally needed this info last week.  But I'll take all the
information I can get.  Please post it for me.  I especially need info
on the rarer shorebirds.  Thank you very much!

TOS Members,
I am writing because I need your help to get future funding for rare birds in
Tennessee.  I am a member of the TWRA State Wildlife Grant team.  We are in
the process of writing a Comprehensive Wildlife Conservation Strategy to turn
into the USFWS so that Tennessee will qualify for State Wildlife Grants in the
future.  SWGs are nongame grants for the conservation of rare animals.  The
first part of this plan is to develop a target list of the rare animals of
Tennessee.  The second part is to map those rare animals.  Unfortunately, TWRA
does
not have elements of occurrence (lat/longs) for many of our bird species.  If
we can't map the occurrences of an animal it can't be a part of the plan.
That's where the birders of Tennessee come in.  We need your help.  If
possible,
please send me 5 occurrences for any of the birds listed below.  I need
dates, location (lat/long), observer, etc.  Here's the kicker, like all
government
projects, I need this information immediately - before next Wednesday.  I know
that's short notice and I apologize but please just give me as much
information as possible.  Thank you so much.
