Hi folks,

While eating with co-workers at the new deli in Townsend (Blount
County) today, I spotted 4 Palm Warblers flitting around between the
buildings.

Last evening, about 7:30 pm we saw a Common Nighthawk fly over our
yard (South Blount county), about 30 feet off the yard.

This morning while picking up the paper at the end of the driveway I
heard a Great-horned Owl. First one I've heard here in several
months, and I think the last 2 years we started hearing them about
this time.

At least one, and I believe 2, Red-tailed Hawks have taken up
residence on the various utility lines along US 321 between Townsend
and Walland. (again, Blount County)

Charlie
