Stephen, While neither as skilled nor in the field near as much as Terry, I concur with his assessment. Over the past three years I have spent about 300 hours in north Rutherford and south Wilson County (the latter along the Alsup Mill route in Bierly's book). While the habitat is promising, I haven't had a shrike other than the one Terry directed me to last year and the one he found this year.
