A half-hour search for yesterday's Pacific Loon in
DeKalb Co. resulted in no success. Ten Common
Loons, 100+ Horned Grebes, 1 Double-crested
Cormorant, 10 Ring-billed Gulls, and 4 Great Blue
Heron nests with brooding adults were the only
consequences of the search.
