Highlights from a couple of interesting mornings at high elevation:

17 Jun 2014
Unaka Mtn., Unicoi Co., TN

Peregrine Falcon - 3 imm, flying around / playing
Magnolia Warbler - 2, singing males

Roan Mtn., Carter Co., TN / Mitchell Co., NC

Merlin - 1  seen & heard vocalizing 
     (I'm not aware of any summer records in either state.)
Least Flycatcher - 1, on territory at ~6100 ft, considerably higher than normal
Magnolia Warbler - 2, singing males
Yellow-rumped Warbler - 1, singing male still on territory
Red Crossbill - 3+
