Ok, Rick. Kelly and I will call your 2 Rufous hummers and 7 White-fronted Geese and (with a little help from our friends) raise you 4 Rufous hummers, 1 Ruby-throated, 1 White-fronted Goose, 1 immature white-morph Snow Goose AND 1 immature blue-morph Snow Goose! :-) Early Saturday morning, Janet McKnight went to get her life Ross's Goose at Pellissippi State in west Knox County where David Howell reported one to me earlier this week. Janet not only found the Ross's but also found an immature Greater White-fronted Goose at the pond. She called Jean Alexander who called me. After tagging along with Chris Sloan catching hummers, Kelly Roy and I stopped by Pellissippi State to look for the geese. We quickly spotted the immature white-morph Snow Goose, then Kelly spotted an immature blue-morph Snow Goose! Then I spotted the immature white-fronted that Janet had reported. Like Carole Gobert, we did not see the Ross's. However, of the 10 or so banded Canada's we saw, none were the ones I saw with the Ross's earlier this week so there is hope that it is still around here, just moving around the area. Again, these geese were all at the pond at Pellissippi State off of Pellissippi Parkway in west Knox County. Oh, and we had the 3 Muscovies there, too.
