A drake duck that appears to be a Redhead x Ring-necked Duck hybrid was
present today. Its body resembles a Ring-nk., but lacks the white
crescent on the forward part of the side. The head is dark, with an
obvious reddish cast, & less peaked than typical Ring-nk. The bill more
closely resembles that of Ring-nk.

Also present were:
Canvasback - 2 (m & f) - rare in NE Tenn.
Redhead - 1 f
Ring-necked Duck - 2 m
Greater Scaup - 1 f
Lesser Scaup - 4 f
Bufflehead - 212
Ruddy Duck - 1 f
Am. Wigeon - 15
Am. Black Duck - 1

No sign of the Cackling Goose, but no Canadas present, either.
