A friend asked me about a recipe for a handmade birdseed wreath which uses 3 tablespoons corn syrup & one packet plain gelatin along with water, 3/ 4 c flour in addition to 4 c birdseed. (it was pressed into a bundt pan & was actually quite lovely) Any problems I should tell her about regarding feeding a small amount of gelatin or corn syrup to birds? (at least it wasn't high fructose corn syrup) I've had a flock of turkeys roosting in trees up behind the house for the past week or so. I love listening to them settle for the night & start waking up in the morning. Noisy critters.
