She is for some reason unable to post to the list, so sent this to me
for forwarding...

A few nighthawks hung around for the last Bearden football game in
West Knoxville on Friday, 10/29/04. I saw four at a time I think,
hawking insects around the field lights. A bit late? But then again,
since most of the fans were wearing shorts and sandals and there were
plenty of insects around the lights, I suppose the birds are in no
big hurry to head south.
(Bearden only won one game this season... but the band is really good
(c:)
