Nov. 10, 2010 Davidson Co. TN I spent the afternoon checking around Percy Priest Lake, Long Hunter Start Park and other sites. At Anderson Rd. rec. area I found one female Long-tailed Duck, in non-breeding plumage. I didn't get to see them, but I believe 2 females were sighted around the PP dam this spring. This bird came from across the lake right to the point of the peninsula about 4pm. I was checking for it, but no Merlin seen in the Merlin tree. The season has just begun. other of interest: Common Loon 35 Horned Grebe 13 Pied-billed Grebe 22 Ruddy Duck 5 Ring-billed Gull only 8 seen Richard Connors Nashville =================NOTES TO SUBSCRIBER===================== The TN-Bird Net requires you to SIGN YOUR MESSAGE with first and last name, CITY (TOWN) and state abbreviation.
