Carol, Because a Guinea fowl weighs at least 3 or 4 pounds, and a large = Cooper's hawk might, at most, weigh 1 1/3 pounds, it is unlikely that your = Cooper's hawk has been preying on the Guineas in your yard. If the Cooper's hawk = is killing Guineas, it would have a lot of trouble carrying the carcass any distance, and I think you would find more remains than just feathers. Unless a dog or some other mammal is hauling off the remains...
