[TN-Bird] eBird records of Evening Grosbeaks in TN

Just checking eBird (which is fairly extensive but far from complete, especially for older data):


The last reports of Evening Grosbeaks in middle and west TN were in 1996 (winter of 95-96, nearly 17 years ago), with records in Davidson, Decatur, and Shelby Counties. Before that was a single Hardin County report in 1991. From 1987 on back there were reports in most years through the 1980s and 1970s.

Of course this is not necessarily good news for the health of boreal ecosystems, but it is a notable birding event!
