Hi folks,

I'm staying home with a sick baby today, so I'm sticking my head out
the window as much as possible.

I've seen:
 - a Blue Jay feeding another Blue Jay which is sitting on an
apparent partial nest in the same spot of a tree where they were
unsuccessful last year.

 - a group of 5-6 Brown-headed Cowbirds chasing 2 females around all
morning

 - a pair of Carolina Chickadees carrying nesting material into (and
out of) a hole in the post of a grapevine

 - a pair of Eastern Bluebirds carrying nesting material into a
bluebird box.

 - a male Red-bellied Woodpecker drumming on the side of the house
and the side of my work shop.

I hope that means we'll have a bunch of baby birds around this year.

Charlie
