I feed sugar water to my honeybees this time of year. Of the thousands of bees that visit the bowls on my front porch, some ten or so die each day. A northern mockingbird and a tufted titmouse have discovered this source of food and are at the bowls early ,before the bees become active. They clean up the dead bees completely. A useful life, a useful death. John Sanders Petersburg, TN.
