An elderly fellow who stops by my remote house to "check on me" stated that
there had been several more ivory-billed woodpeckers found - in fact said
there were seventeen of them. After checking around on the Internet and
finding nothing that corrobarates his story, I'm inclined to think he made
it up to impress me, or the rumor mill around the country store in MIfflin
has produced a new whopper. Has anyone heard this, or any more updates on
new spottings? Surely they would let us all know since it would be the
second greatest news to hit the birding world in decades....
