West Knox Co, 9 May 2007 When we first moved in I thought ther might be a chance but had long since given up on this one. And just last week at the KTOS meeting I said I wasn't aware of any still in the Knoxville CBC circle. Then this morning, I heard the unmistakable call from valley (Ball Camp) below our ridge --- Bob-bob-white --- repeated many times. Of course origin could be a concern. Not sure of its relation to the peacock and chickens I hear from the valley or the Ring-necked Pheasant Amber found at Ball Camp Elementary School one night. Ehh, yardbird #149. Also of interest this morning: Red-eyed Vireo, 3+ Blackpoll Warbler, 1 singing CANADA WARBLER, 1 singing, 20th yard-warbler of the season Summer Tanager, 1 Rose-breasted Grosbeak, 6+ Dean Edwards Knoxville, TN =================NOTES TO SUBSCRIBER===================== The TN-Bird Net requires you to SIGN YOUR MESSAGE with first and last name, CITY (TOWN) and state abbreviation.
