Today 9/1/19 while birding with Gordon Brugman and learning some tips on
photography, he photographed a Yellow-bellied Flycatcher at a field edge on
Apple Tree Lane. The bird only made a brief appearance then flew south over the
field and not seen again. I was with Gordon but did not see the bird, I was
focused on a Chestnut-sided Warbler. I looked at the raw image on his camera
and recognized it as Empidonax, but the color was muted on the camera. I
initially thought it was a Least Flycatcher. Later when he increased the light
on the image to view better, it's clearly a Yellow-bellied Flycatcher, Sevier
County's second only eBird report.I returned to look for it but it was not
present.Keith WatsonPittman Center TN Keith Watson Sent from my Verizon,
