I took a quick trip to Big Sandy today and to the Tennessee National Refuge,
Big Sandy Unit to see the Yellow Billed Loon. It had been seen all morning by
the group up there led by Jeff Wilson. I saw it witht he help of Jan Shaw.
Keeping up with it was a job as it kept diving. It was to the right of the
island off Pace Point and would swim on around the bend to the right. Great
look. Hard to miss that big yellow bill.
