The warbler one-a-days continue. Today's special guest: a(nother)
very cooperative Worm-eating Warbler. I've had a Wormie a few times
this spring and summer and each time (when seen and not just heard)
it has been what I would consider unusually cooperative for the
species giving nice long looks from rather exposed perches rather
than skulking about in the brush. Same bird?

These warblers the last three days have all been working the edge
of the woods in our backyard (west Knox Co) and have all shown up
between 8:30 and 9:00 AM accompanying a large group of about 10
Carolina Chickadees that are making their first morning visit to
the yard and feeders. The warblers haven't stayed long and were
working their way down the ridge from North to South (as were the
chickadees).
