Sept. 6, 2003 Lower Hatchie NWR Lauderdale Co. I got a report this morning from the Lower Hatchie refuge manager that 40 - 50 Wood Storks were present at Champion Lake this AM. Looks like a visit up there in the AM is in order. They might be found in any good habitat in west TN at this time. A spoonbill or two in the mix would be nice. Good Birding!!! Jeff R.
