[TN-Bird] Wood Stork; Madison Co 8/20/2010

Jackson; Madison Co
On my way into work this morning I noticed 15-20 Great Egrets sitting around
in
cypress trees in the big bottom just west of Jackson off of I-40. I have always
figured that sooner or later a Wood Stork or some other 'goodie' would show up
in this nice area. Sure enough, in the the top of one of the trees, there was a
Wood Stork. I didn't have time to stop, but maybe it will be in this area again.
The exact location was just about a mile east of Exit 76 off Interstate 40, in
the Forked Deer River bottom, on the south side of the Interstate.
