A winter wren has been scurrying about our deck and waterer the last few days. It gave us quite a look as we watched it feeding among the concrete block for any unfortunate insect or spider. Flying low to our front porch area, it flew as I walked out earlier. Obviously, it was not thrilled with my presence. Later, the little wren was frightened as Roy went into his shed. We have hopes of it staying around. One could always hope, agree? Perhaps our activity has not discouraged it but I know it'll proabbly move on. Thrills if only for a brief while are still appreciated!
