Slight correction to Justin's post. Although close to the Wilson Co. line,
Fall Creek and the lake is actually Rutherford Co. Flying birds to the
N-E might be seen over Wilson Co.
And a word of caution. As most birders know with parking in any out of the
way place, be aware of your surroundings & don't leave valuables in
vehicle. Also this land area is mostly wildlife management area, and I
believe deer season, if this year is like last, goes (mostly weekends) thru
the end of January.

For anyone interested there are 200-300 AW Pelicans on PP Lake near Fall
Creek boat ramp. They are not viewable from the boat ramp instead use the
small parking area on the right hand side of the road. It's located at the
big left curve a bit before you get to the actual boat ramp. There's a
short trail to the lake. Also had a Bald Eagle fly over.
