We may have to get WillieBoy a membership at Weight Watchers for Christmas! He has eaten so much in the last two days and his feathers are fluffed out because of the extreme cold so from the back he appears almost as wide as he is long. But he has been extremely resourceful as his visits yesterday were all long ones. Virginia thinks he has matured considerably since our first looks at him and his rufous color does seem darker and the throat dots larger. I hope he stays long enough to get his full colors. But even in his unfinished state he is still beautiful and his appearance every morning brings us joy. A couple from Knoxville plan to stop by this morning to see him and we hope he will cooperate by feeding at the ports easily seen from the window. We've not tried blocking the back port in previous days so didn't want to change things on such a cold morning.
