WillieBoy may be gone! He came to the feeder at 6:30 this morning and took three quick sips, then came back in 2 minutes for the same; 10 Minutes later he came back and drank for just over a minute and then continued visits until just a while before the bander came. After the bander set up his equipment WillieBoy never appeared again and even though the equipment was taken down at 12:00, we still have not seen him and it is 3:00 now. We're heading for Florida in the morning to try for the Masked Duck being seen near Melbourne and will leave out two feeders just in case WillieBoy is around. But since he has never stayed away from the feeder this long before and his usual last visit is around 3:00 on warm days, we can only assume he has departed.
