More mud continues to be exposed at the lake on Carter’s Creek Pike bringing
in a small increase in shorebird activity. The highlight today was a single
Semi-Palmated Plover. Both adult Bald Eagles were present and have been regular
there lately in early morning hours.
After leaving there I went to Marcella Vivrette Smith Park where Graham
Gerdeman and I had one nice mixed flock including first of season Magnolia
Warbler and Canada Warbler with a Black-and-white in the mix as well.
Good birding!
