Feb. 18 Williamson Co. TN On a GBBC survey west of Franklin this afternoon the best bird turned out to be a mature Bald Eagle that landed at Bailey Rd. pond. It made several passes attempting to intimidate pond occupants - Canada geese, assorted ducks and small flock of ring-billed gulls - but put down to rest when none of these provided a meal. Two to three eagles reportedly have been seen in this area this winter.
