Hiwassee refuge viewing area
Today from 2:00 p.m. - 2:45 we observed 4 Whooping Cranes in the green field
visible from the viewing platform.
The 4 Whooping Cranes stayed together, and we watched them feeding with
spotting scope, and binoculars.
The rain was of no concern to the multitude of Sandhill Cranes standing in the
green fields.
It was great to hear their noisy voices again.
