This morning right around sunrise I found 2 White-winged Scoters hanging out
with a raft of Ring-necked Ducks on the southwestern part of the Franklin
Reservoir.
It is VERY challenging to access viewing for the reservoir. Parking is
roadside on Mack Hatcher and there is a thick border of privet and honeysuckle
to get through to get to the fence which surrounds the reservoir. The fence
itself is also very grown up so views are obstructed by foliage.
