Lynne and Bob,
Wondering if that is later than usual. When I lived in Winfield, AL (110
miles due south of Waynesboro), I would always get whitethroats on October
18. I haven't kept track as closely since I moved to Waynesboro, but it
seems the arrival date has moved back. I haven't had any yet this year;
only had one or two last year, compared to the 5 or so I had in years
previous.
I did have my second redbreasted nuthatch of the fall a little while ago.
Only saw the first one a couple of times; it appears this one may go the
same route.
