Sept. 6, 2010 Ensley Bottoms Shelby Co. TN Took 4 hours scanning through the peep flocks at Ensley. An immature Coopers and a Kestrel kept the birds nervous and in the air but rewards were to be found. Lots of fresh plumaged immature birds were eye candy with a few Western Sandpipers in the mix and quite a few Pectorals finally. The treat of the day was a molted adult White-rumped and a Baird's feeding in the mix but I could not get them to get any closer together than 15 or 20 feet apart. This still made for some good looks at their different styles. I've added a few photos from the long weekend at: _http://www.pbase.com/ol_coot/image/128192767 Good Birding !!! Jeff R.
