[TN-Bird] White-crowned Sparrow

For several years I have been tracking the departure dates (usually in early
May) of one of my favorite winter residents, the White-throated Sparrow. At
least one was still here yesterday, but this morning the first sparrow that I
saw, to my surprise, was his close cousin, the White-crowned Sparrow.
Rose-breasted Grosbeaks are still here in numbers, making a substantial dent
in my sunflower budget. Their appetites are as big as their beaks! But my
wife Janey and I are not complaining; they are delight to watch.
