A White Pelican remained at Cove Lake State Park, Campbell COunty , Tn. N of Knoxville around dark on Monday, Dec 20th.Was able to photograph him. He kept moving around to different locations on the lake, as well as just walking around the BALL FIELD easily approachable! Strange.. No bands.Cove Lake is quite interesting right now. Bald Eagle- several species of ducks, including Hooded Mergansers, Black Ducks , Am. Wigeon, Green-WInged Teal. A good place to scope the lake is from the main road just in front of the Hampton Inn. Several of the coves the ducks are congregating in can be seen from there.Lots of gulls also..
