The Duck River Whimbrel has been present for four days now at the one
small location on the muddy islands in the mouth of the Duck River
(confluence with the TN River) a location that is visible from both Refuge
Road and Tie Landing with a spotting scope. Last night it was still there
when I left and also reported to have been there at dusk after all the
other shorebirds left.
