I would like to thank all the people who offered help when I posted that I
couldn't post pictures on the site.
Tony Lance identified the bird as a Western Tanager. I believe that he posted
the pictures on facebook for me.
He was very shy when I first spotted him on Monday. I only got a few brief
glances and didn't want to disturb the other birds feeding by trying to get
closer looks. Tuesday he was in and out all day, but I haven't seen him at all
today.
