April 6, 2011 Greene County: Bridge Burners Boulevard, Wal-Mart Distribution Center (WMDC), etc. I arrived at Bridge Burners Boulevard just after first light this morning in hopes of finding the Black-necked Stilt reported there yesterday by Ben Britton. I spent about an hour there, at WMDC, and on nearby Pottertown Road, but I found no stilt. At mid-day, I visited the area again for about twenty minutes for another look, but again I found no stilt. Other species were active, though, and I was able to observe the following, some of which I found outside the Bridge Burners Boulevard-WMDC area: American Wigeon (Bridge Burners Blvd.) American Black Duck (Bridge Burners Blvd.) Blue-winged Teal (35 Bridge Burners Blvd., etc.) Northern Shoveler (6 Bridge Burners Blvd.) Green-winged Teal (WMDC) Lesser Scaup (Guinn Dr.) Pied-billed Grebe (Bridge Burners Blvd.) Great Egret (10 Pottertown Rd.)
