Car-birded in the rain this afternoon, stopping occasionally to step outside 
and listen to the avian news. Also walked the ponds at Wal-Mart Distribution 
Center (WMDC) during a brief break in the weather. Partial list includes: 

Gadwall (15, Gravel Woods Rd.) 
American Wigeon (12, Gravel Woods Rd.) 
American Black Duck (3, Gravel Woods Rd.) 
Northern Shoveler (9, WMDC) 
Northern Pintail (2, Gravel Woods Rd.) 
Green-winged Teal (8, Gravel Woods Rd.) 
Ring-necked Duck (11--9 Gravel Woods Rd., 2 Guinn Dr.) 
Ruddy Duck (Gravel Woods Rd.) 
Wild Turkey (7) 
American Coot (31, WMDC) 
Wilson's Snipe (WMDC) 
Horned Lark (Baughard Hill Rd.) 
Marsh Wren (WMDC, 2nd pond) 
American Pipit (92, mostly on Green Rd.)
