You know you've had a cold Christmas Count when, at the end of the day, 25
degrees feels balmy! Owling in the dark at 5 am (13 degrees) produced no
owls, but I did see three shooting stars!
All in all a good day for Mac and me as our day included a Merlin, an Am
Tree Sparrow, and two Long-tailed Ducks (possibly county first).
