Walter S. Davis Marsh - TSU 3-1-15 Davidson Co. I visited the marsh behind TSU this morning to look for ducks and geese. While scanning the ducks through my binoculars, an American Bittern literally flew across my field of view. It then landed at the edge of the marsh no more than twenty feet away. It stayed out in the open for a few minutes allowing for amazing views and lots of pictures...better to be lucky than good. Mike Smith Hendersonville, TN
