This very cold Friday morning I stopped at the marsh next to Dr. Walter
S Davis Blvd and found a huge flock of CANADA GEESE and a single white
goose. Got out my scope to identify it as a ROSS'S GOOSE. At first I
thought it might be the hybrid Snow x Ross's that was seen on Dec. 3
at Snow Bunting Peninsula but from the posted ebird photos it is clearly
not the same bird as that bird had some dark feathers toward the top
of its head while this one was pristine white.
