Made a brief stop this Saturday morning at the Walter S. Davis Blvd
marsh next to the TSU Campus. A huge amount of the lake has dried up
leaving lots of mud. Although rather late in the season for most
shorebirds, there have been PECTORAL SANDPIPERs working the mud for
some days now, and the three of them that I saw there yesterday
continued today.
