Made a brief stop this Monday morning at the marsh. Just the usual
dabbling ducks but in scanning the sky toward the Cumberland River
I saw a distant flock of 30+ large birds circling. I quickly identified
them as SANDHILL CRANEs. They came closer before heading off south west
and giving several of their bugling calls.
