Just a word of caution for anyone trying for the ibis at Walter Davis Marsh.
This appears to be a juvenile bird and may not be identifiable to species (i.e.
you may not be able to rule out White-faced, even though Glossy is the more
expected species). If it stays around for any length of time, it may begin to
molt into more identifiable plumage, but for now, perhaps best to mark it as
plegadis sp. or Glossy/White-faced Ibis.

Subject: [TN-Bird] Walter S. Davis Blvd Marsh -- Glossy Ibis
Walter S. Davis Blvd Marsh
Nashville, Davidson Co., TN
2017 Oct 26
Stopped at Walter S. Davis Blvd Marsh a few minutes ago and found a
GLOSSY IBIS feeding and preening in the large pond area surrounded
by the marsh that can be seen from next to the road across from
where Schraeder Lane intersects the Blvd. Watched the bird for about
25 minutes as it continued to feed.
