This morning as we passed the New Prospect Presbyterian Church graveyard on Sevierville Pike, there were 6 or 7 black vultures gathered on the ground on one of the graves. One bird was sitting on the gravestone. It was an old, well-grassed grave, and there didn't seem to be any food item to attract them there. Were they having a prayer meeting? Or maybe just waiting for the sun to come up over the hill.
