Even though I see a good number of vultures throughout the year just by standing in my front yard, it isn't until the fall that their numbers increase dramatically. Hundreds of Turkey and Black Vultures can be observed on a daily basis riding the thermals coming up off the Tennessee River. I've created a section in my Flickr photostream to celebrate them if anyone is interested, they are really quite amazing. I've also got quite a few more photos that I haven't posted yet: http://www.flickr.com/photos/livingglassart/sets/72157622654802489/ <http://www.flickr.com/photos/livingglassart/sets/72157622654802489/>Anna Varney Perryville, Decatur Cty, TN =================NOTES TO SUBSCRIBER===================== The TN-Bird Net requires you to SIGN YOUR MESSAGE with first and last name, CITY (TOWN) and state abbreviation.
