Good Monday Tn-birders…
NTOS has two birding opportunities coming up this week for those who live in
and around the Nashville/Davidson County area or will be visiting the area.
First, the last of our Fall Wednesday Morning Radnor Lake walks will take place
on Wednesday, the 9th. Join NTOS member Frank Fekel as he leads the last walk
of the season. He’ll be waiting in the west parking lot of Radnor Lake State
Park at 7:30 am. So grab and friend and come on out as you never know what
you’ll find at Radnor Lake during migration!
The second opportunity will be on Saturday, October 12th. This NTOS sponsored
field trip will be to Bledsoe Creek State Park in Sumner County.
https://tnstateparks.com/parks/bledsoe-creek Meet field trip leader Mike
Smith at 7:30 am in the Visitor’s Parking lot for a morning of migration
birding. Bring water, snacks and bug spray (just in case) and enjoy an outting
in this unique park at 400 Zieglers Fort Road in Gallatin, TN.
We hope you’ll consider joining NTOS for each of these birding adventures. As
always you do not have to be a member of TOS to join us but we sure hope you’ll
consider joining our 104 year old Conservation Organization.
See you soon!
And until then,
