Today the Nashville CBC had three unusual species found. The Long-tailed
Duck in Bellevue has already been posted to tn-bird and photos taken, but
there was also a Gray Catbird and an American Tree Sparrow. The Catbird is
unusual in that it is late. It was found at Owls Hill in Williamson Co. The
Tree Sparrow is unusual because we just don't see them very often here. It
was reported by Richard Connors from the Harpeth West route. It was in a
field on the south side of Hwy 100 just past Warner Park where there's a
put in place along the Harpeth River. There's a parking lot there with an
entrance just past the bridge. Richard is going to try to re-find the bird
tomorrow and get a photo.

Full details of the count will come later.
