Owl's Hill Nature Sanctuary Williamson County This afternoon five turkey vultures were in the area above our parking lot working over a deer carcus. Yesterday 2 pairs of Hermit Thrushes in the walnut trees along the creek. The four appeared to be together. Still quite a few cedar waxwings-we've had them here since late autumn, the longest stay for this species ever.
