The Tri-colored Heron is still hanging around in Black Bayou. today I found it off the left side of the Levee behind the pump house. TWRA has cleaned that area out of vegetation and put up a berme and pumped in water. Habitat is looking good back there. There were two Pectoral Sandpipers, 4- Lesser Yellowlegs, and two Solitary SP. along with the Tri-colored and Snowy egrets and imm. Little blues. And of course the ever present Killdeer.
